Anything Goes! carpets were originally developed to address the number-one complaint concerning carpet performance matting and crushing due to twist loss. Backed by the strongest warranty protection available, ShawMark guarantees Anything Goes! carpets for up to ten years.

Filament Cross Section

The filament cross section illustrates the unique, compact delta shape with virtually no indentations that make up the yarns used to manufacture Anything Goes! This solid delta shape offers modest bulking characteristics but exceptional resistance to packing and crushing delivering the performance customers have been relying on since 1981.

Twist Level

In order to achieve the high resistance to packing and crushing found in Anything Goes! Carpet, the yarn we use is quite unique one with an optimal twist level. This continuous filament yarn has more twist making a stronger yarn with a smaller circumference. This greater twist means the yarn has less bulk but great resistance to packing and crushing.

Time & Temperature Formula (T&T)

The T&T Formula could be considered the recipe for making Anything Goes! These directions aren't just unique they are one of the best kept secrets at Shaw.

You might compare the process of manufacturing carpet to baking a cake. You put three ingredients into your "cake": proper yarn cross section, twist level, and filament type. After "mixing" your ingredients, your cake goes into an oven at a precise temperature and for a certain period of time. If you apply the wrong numbers, your cake could be a disaster!

The Anything Goes! Warranty

Anything Goes! boasts the strongest matting and crushing warranty in the industry, with styles offering both 5- or 10-year coverage. It is the only matting and crushing warranty to cover stairs and hallways and it is transferable to a new owner should you decide to sell your home. Some competitors use statements like, "will not exhibit significant matting or crushing," will not show abnormal matting and crushing," or "intended to protect you from excessive appearance change but not Anything Goes!

Our warranty includes:

"If your Anything Goes! carpet shows matting or crushing from foot traffic as a result of the yarn tufts losing their twist, and the carpet's appearance cannot be restored, we will replace the Anything Goes! carpet at our expense with new Anything Goes! carpet of the same color and quality."

ShawMark pays for new carpet and the labor to replace the carpet during years one through five. During years six through ten, ShawMark will pay for the new carpet only. For the five-year products, carpet and labor are covered for two years and carpet only for five years.

All Anything Goes! styles featuring the 10-Year Limited Matting and Crushing Warranty are constructed of DuPont STAINMASTER nylon with Advanced Teflon Repel System for enhanced stain and soil resistance. Other Anything Goes! styles use advanced yarn systems and feature the latest in stain resistance technology. All Anything Goes! products are protected by ShawMark's 10-Year Consumer Protection Plan, our limited manufacturing defects warranty.
